Journal of Molecular Docking (J. Mol. Docking, ISSN: 2798-138X (online)) is an international scientific platinum open-access journal managed by the Department of Pharmacy, Universitas Muhammadiyah Palangkaraya and published two times a year (in June and December) onward June 2021 by Institute for Research and Community Services Universitas Muhammadiyah Palangkaraya, contains articles of original research and literature review in the field of science and health using Molecular Docking Simulation as its main analysis method. Journal of Molecular Docking accepts scientific articles in the form of original research articles, short communication, literature review, and expert opinion from anyone without any discrimination, as long as they submit articles that meet scientific principles.

Journal of Molecular Docking provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge. All articles published in the Journal of Molecular Docking are open access and free for access as stated on Budapest Open Access Initiative:

"By 'open access' to this literature, we mean its free availability on the public internet, permitting any users to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of these articles, crawl them for indexing, pass them as data to software, or use them for any other lawful purpose, without financial, legal, or technical barriers other than those inseparable from gaining access to the internet itself. The only constraint on reproduction and distribution, and the only role for copyright in this domain, should be to give authors control over the integrity of their work and the right to be appropriately acknowledged and cited."

Editors accept submissions of the well-prepared manuscript that has not been published in other publications. The manuscript format and requirements are listed on the back cover page. Incoming manuscripts will be evaluated and edited to uniformity of structures, terms, and other writing procedures. All manuscripts will be reviewed by the double-blind method by our selective reviewer.

It was first published in 2021 using the Open Journal System (OJS) 3.1. Every year, the Journal of Molecular Docking publishes 10 articles divided into two issues. Authors continue to retain the copyright to the article if the article is published in the Journal of Molecular Docking. They will also retain the publishing rights to the article without any restrictions.
